Cant complain about Free Stuff!

Today was a pretty normal day at work. Make sales, greet customer etc. Then later this one kid comes into the store with a huge record player and says “The record store down the street is giving away free vinyls.” So the first keyword I notice (of course) was “free”, and I immediatly pursue to the record store (plus I was on break anyways). As I approached the store, there was a huge sign saying that they were relocating to another area. Next to the sign there was a huge shelf full of vinyls with a sign that said “free stuff.” I was hoping that there was a michael jackson record laying around, but I kinda figured those chances were pretty low. It was mostly Hiphop records for $1 lol. I am a serious music head and I love all genres so it doesnt matter to me.
“Making the Dream” Music Showcase

Recently came from a showcase to see my close friend perform on stage. I was also there to do some recordings for a video. Sadly enough, my digi camera isnt good with catching the essence of good low frequency (bass ). But then again thats why its a camera for “pictures” lol. Anyways check out the video of my friend Versa perfoming. He did an amazing job. So many people gave props and chanted out his name, that it was a huge shock that he didnt win.

Jaw Dro..Rocking Fun with Fight Night!

I hate the joystick controls on Fight Night. Hopefully they put the button configuration on Round 4 because it was not included in the demo. Either way the game is alot more fun, with the new physics they worked on. I swear I watched the replays more than actually playing the damn game lol. Check out this video I recorded entirely in slow motion. Makes me want to buy a high FPS camera!
Remember these?
Some old games I found that I used to play

This disk actually gave me a virus back in the ’90s. Go figure
Mixing beats with Looptastic!

My manager showed me this app on the iphone called Looptastic where you can mix pre-loaded loops, or your own DJ Style. The app is setup like a DJ mixer. The crossfader is at the bottom and the loops are icon shapes. You can drag the loops into the mixer, and the volume to each loop is adjusted by how far you drag the loops to the top.
I used to do music production and engineering so a app like this is pretty fun to me. Even though looptastic is a great app worth purchasing, there is a competitive app called Beatmaker, which is basically a full production studio on your iphone. I wouldve downloaded that app but I dont want to get caught making songs again. Plus $20 is a lot to shell out lol. But im sure its well worth it. But until then I just wanted to import some of my old songs on looptastic and just mix around with them whenever I get bored. When I downloaded the app, I was expected to just play around with it for a couple of minutes. I later caught myself playing with the app for almost an hour! Check out this video I made playing a old hiphop song I made a few years back.
