Ever felt like your windows theme looks bland, or needs a new look? Ive been there. I have gone as far as to making my XP theme look like MAC OSX. I know…..I sound desperate but oneday just oneday I will be fully converted into apple! Anyways there are tons of ways to change the look of your Windows OS. Some cost while others are free.
I recently had a conversation with my father and he gave a point that really interested me. He talked about how e books were the future of reading. “When you publish a book and find a error or misquote, you have to revise and recall all the books in retails just because you messed up one sentence. With e books, its just a few clicks away from fixing your problems.” He was absolutely right about that and I agreed. But most people today are still trying to find a reason to avoid the technology transition, or simply haven’t realized the new change in things. Virtual media is starting to be a huge investment not just in e books, but in software, music and games! But the downfall of virtual media would be “lack of physical collection.” Sure virtual media can drastically reduce matter, but there are people out here who want to actually Own a Music CD (like me). I admit that it does feel less authentic buying a video game or cd online since you cant enjoy that new cd smell when you first open the case. Also the fact it would be harder to find things to sell on ebay unless you are selling cd keys or something. But the main reason for all of this is lack of value!
I feel the exact same way. Makes me feel bad for making a blogspot. But hey, I did create 3 flash websites ^__^. Just wanted to post this important video for those are interested in web development.
My personal site (has not been updated in a good while)- www.upside.vze.com
I have been longing for a Media player that carry both attributes of design and functionality. I have gone from Windows media player, to Winamp, to other weird media players. But to me, nothing compares to the smoothness of MP3Toys. It is a program that sorta kept under the dark but when it is found you will be glad to use this program! The program supports mostly all known music formats and takes up a very small amount of memory. The design is very simple using only square and rectangle geometries. But the program absolutely shines once you add all of your albums!
Ok so most computer owner’s wants to know what is the best virus program, or what is the best spyware remover, blah blah. It’s one of the most hottest topics in consumer electronics. But the thing is, there has to be an unlimited amount of anti-virus/spyware programs out there just waiting to destroy your wallet….err infections. So narrowing down a answer like that will end up way more of a user opinion since of course it is now clearly hard to rate the best. One program may get the job but at a slower rate because of its bulky graphical interface, or another may look simple and partially finish the job but has a quicker scan time. One program may even go as far as to charge you a annually fee which is pretty dumb in my opinion (I wont say any names). But you, the people, can only choose the most satisfying program that fits your needs!
So ya you ever wondered why you see those nice lineups of low priced computer’s at the store? Black designs with the Blue light LED’s, and the glossy LCD screens (sold separately)? There are just absolutely eye candy!! Wouldn’t you love to have a good looking computer like that? I know I would, except there is one problem. I don’t even know whats under the hood! Now every plaid outfit wearing, car salesmen knows that the biggest trap….is the design of the car! Same way with CPU’s. Well in actuality this applies for everything (All that glitters is not gold…cliche). But anyways with technology, you can pretty much say “you get what you paid for” in some cases. Like if you looked at a cellphone for example. You can pretty much identify the difference between a phone that came off E.T’s spaceship and a phone off the knock-off express truck by the local corner store. Computer’s though……they seem to have a look that can sometimes fool the eyes.
So you stand in between a battle of MAC and Windows. They constantly throw sweet whispers in your ear that makes it even harder to choose sides. “We have no viruses” says MAC, “but you can use your USB stick as memory” says Vista. In the end, you just want a computer that does what a computer is suppose to do; Work! Truthfully having a MAC and PC are both beneficial, especially if you are an all around gamer/developer/office worker. But if you just want a operating system to get away from all the intense gunfire, or just wanting to trying something new in your life, there is one for you. I introduce to you another operating system which can be claimed as “A diamond in the dirt.” Yes you are correct! It is a Linux OS that goes by the name Ubuntu!!!
